The policemen didn't understand.
I read "Double Danger" written by Tony Hopwood. David was invited by his Japanese friend, Midori and he decided to go to Japan. However, he was taken away by two men at the airport in Japan because he looked like the famous baseball player, O' Hara.
I was sorry for him because he had a scary experience nevertheless he came to Japan for the first time. If I were him, I might hate Japan.
